DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR:

After the pick up from your accommodation or in a prearranged meeting place, we move to the south side of Etna where we start a relaxing and pleasing walk in one of the most beautiful Etna's volcanic path. We walk through luxuriant pine forests, ancient lava flows, desert expances of volcanic ashes, enjoying at the same time wonderful views. 

At 2000 meters of altitude we reach the edge of the immense caldera of Valle del Bove with a breathtaking view: the steaming summit craters in front of us, vertical volcanic walls over a thousand meters high and billions of cubic meters of lava in a lifeless rock desert, give us a landscape unique in the world.

To round off this amazing tour, there will also visited some flank craters created by an important historical eruption with a memorable volcanic scenery.

Visited places will be presented with explanations, images, videos and historical documents.

WHAT TO BRING AND ADVICES:

- Trekking or at least tennis shoes, pullover, windbreaker, water (at least 1.5 liter per person), something to eat if needed, hat, sun cream, sunglasses. Pullover and light windbreaker can be hired for free.

- Tour has quite simple walks and can be managed in a simple way by those who have inclination to walk. Tour is suitable for children, families, adults who have a good physical shape and desire to explore the volcanic landscape.

- Tour can be customized as the small group of only 4 participants in total.

- 4 people: 49 € each person.

Prices are meant for the number of people booked - for example: a booking for 2 people has a cost of 59 € per person, if in the tour there will be 1-2 more people the price is still 59 € per person. 

Prices include all transports for free, local and licensed guide, insurance, trekking poles. If needed, it is possible to hire pullovers and windbreakers for free.
